Brian Dunne
President and Chief Financial Officer
Brian Dunne joined ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2005. He was appointed President and Chief Financial Officer on January 1, 2011. He has executive responsibility for the overall financial strategic direction, control and financial monitoring of ACE. He also has responsibility for corporate finance and strategy, business development projects, investor relations, controller's operations and taxation.
Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Dunne was Chief Financial Officer and a director of Aer Lingus, the national carrier of Ireland. After joining Aer Lingus as CFO in 2001, Mr. Dunne played a key role in transforming Aer Lingus into a profitable low fare carrier. He led the airline's successful cost reduction program and European fleet transformation as well as other initiatives which were instrumental in the carrier's turnaround.
From 1987, Mr. Dunne spent 14 years with Arthur Andersen in a variety of professional roles ultimately as a Partner in the business consulting practice with clients in the transportation, energy and communications sector.
Mr. Dunne is a non-executive director of Ardmore Shipholding Limited and formerly a non-executive director of WRI Holdings Limited, a leading internet travel retailer and distributor with major online brands such as Hostelworld.com, Hostels.com, WorldRes.com, Trav.com and boo.com.
Mr. Dunne is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin, Ireland.
